Odisha CM Majhi expresses sorrow over Ahmedabad plane crash

Bhubaneswar, June 12: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic crash of an Air India flight near Ahmedabad airport and extended his prayers for the victims and their families.
The London-bound Air India aircraft, carrying 242 passengers and crew, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday afternoon. Reports indicated the possibility of multiple casualties.
Reacting to the incident, the Chief Minister Majhi said, "I am deeply saddened by the tragic incident involving the Air India Ahmedabad–London flight. My thoughts and prayers are with all the passengers, crew members, and their families during this difficult time. I earnestly pray to Lord Shri Jagannath for the safety and swift recovery of everyone affected."
Authorities are continuing rescue and relief operations at the crash site.
