Bhubaneswar, June 4:Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Thursday directed all departments to effectively highlight the BJP government’s developmental achievements as it completes two years in office.

Chairing a high-level meeting at Kharavel Bhawan, Garg reviewed departmental performances and praised key accomplishments, including Odisha winning five National Panchayat Awards 2025, increased foreign tourist arrivals, progress under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, and a major MoU with Intel and 3DGS in the Electronics and IT sector.

She urged departments to accelerate infrastructure spending, improve revenue collection, and ensure timely implementation of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s directives.

The meeting also finalized plans for a statewide outreach campaign to showcase the government’s achievements. Major events will include a state-level programme in Rairangpur on June 20, a press conference by the Chief Minister on June 9, exhibitions, seminars, yoga events, and awareness programmes across districts, blocks, and gram panchayats.

Officials also reviewed development initiatives in Cuttack and lauded the turnaround of the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC), which has achieved profitability through digital reforms, fleet modernization, and green transport initiatives.
