Bhubaneswar, April 4: Odisha celebrated the Good Friday amid strict guidelines of Covid-19. The festival was enthusiastically observed in churches across the state by the Christian community abiding the strictures for Corona.   Though, mass prayer in the chapel was banned on fear of resurgence of Corona, people rendered social service, greeted each other and offered alms to the poor, keeping up social distancing in their own family.   The Good Friday is observed before the Easter to commemorate the day of crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
