Bhubaneswar, Oct 20: People of Odisha are busy celebrating Gajalaxmi Puja or Kumar Purnima today. They worship goddess Lakshmi for wealth and prosperity. According to legend, goddess Lakshmi visits homes to bless them. Moreover, unmarried girls observe fast during the day as part of the celebration of Kumar Purnima seeking divine blessings for a good companion.
