Odisha Cabinet meeting on Wednesday; over 9 proposals likely to get approval

The Odisha State Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Wednesday at 5 PM under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. More than nine proposals from various departments are likely to receive the Cabinet’s approval.

Bhubaneswar, August 12: The Odisha State Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Wednesday at 5 PM under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. More than nine proposals from various departments are likely to receive the Cabinet’s approval.

Proposals from the Revenue, Supplies, Rural Development and Water Resources, Panchayati Raj, Education, and Health departments are expected to be placed before the Cabinet.

The state government has been focusing on implementing people-centric schemes across departments and has directed each district collector to undertake 25 new projects.

The government has also placed special emphasis on farmers’ welfare through the provision of input subsidies, women’s empowerment through the Subhadra Yojana, universal access to education, and strengthening healthcare infrastructure.
