Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday boycotted the all-party meeting called by Speaker SN Patro ahead of the winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. Deputy leader of opposition in the House, Bishnu Charan Sethi walked out of the all-party meeting alleging that the BJP was not getting its due as the main opposition party. The BJP had demanded the participation of opposition chief whip Mohan Charan Majhi and MLA Jay Narayan Mishra in the meeting due to the illness of leader of opposition Pradipta Kumar Naik. Sethi said the party has boycotted the meeting as the Speaker, who had assured participation of Majhi and Mishra during last all-party meeting, did not keep his promise.
