Bhubaneswar, Dec 10: The Odisha Assembly was on Friday adjourned sine die, 17 days ahead of the schedule. Speaker SN Patro adjourned the House amid the din by the opposition BJP and Congress over the Mamita Meher murder case. The winter session of the Odisha Assembly, which commenced on December 1, was scheduled to conclude on December 31, with a total of 26 working days. The murder of the lady teacher dominated the winter session of the state Assembly as the opposition created ruckus demanding sacking and arrest of Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged links with the prime accused in the murder case.
