Odisha announces team for Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy, former Hong Kong captain Anshuman Rath included

Cuttack, Oct 13: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) todat announced the Odisha Men’s State Cricket Team for the upcoming Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy to be held in Lucknow from the November 4 to 9. Rajesh Dhupar will lead the team while former Hongkong captain Anshuman Rath has been selected to represent the Odisha Senior Men's Cricket Team for the first time. A total of 21 players have been included in the team. The Team will travel to Lucknow on October 27. Odisha will play against teams like Goa, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab and Pondicherry. Further, the Odisha team, prior to participating in the Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy, will travel to Raipur on October 19 to play practice matches against Chhattisgarh. Player List: Rajesh Dhupar (Captain, WK), Gaurav Chaudhary, Anurag Sarangi, Anshuman Rath (WK), Sandeep Patnaik, Subhranshu Senapati, Abhishek Yadav, Pratik Das, Govinda Poddar, Rajesh Mohanty, Tarini Sa, B Shiva, Ashish Rai, Debabrata Pradhan, Sarbeswar Mohanty, Prayas Singh Thakur, Pappu Ray, Harshit Rathod, Bikash Rout, Jayanta Behera and Abhishek Rout.
