Odia worker’s body reaches village from UAE after six days

Berhampur, May 22: The body of an Odia worker was brought to Odisha from UAE after six days to his death. ‘Odisha-Mo Paribar’ facilitated the Berhampur based family to bring the body to their village. The body was of Gourahari Swain, a native of Mardamekha village under Beguniapada block in Ganjam District. Sources said, Gourahari was working as a contractual worker in Dubai since some years. Meanwhile, he became severely ill and was admitted to a hospital there. However, he died on May 15 while undergoing treatment. Being informed, the family members appealed the 'Odisha-Mo Paribar' to help in bringing Gourahari’s body from Dubai. Accordingly, the activist intermediated to bring the body from Dubai that arrived on May 21.
