Ranchi, Oct 1: Odia Diasporas and Odia schools in the neioghboring state Jharkhand,are at the dent of sheer negligence of the concerned state government, said Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday.
While addressing the ‘Parivartan Yatra’, a political agenda propaged by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), at chaibasa ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly Election, Majhi said that thousands of Odias, and Odia speaking people are living in Jharkhand. However, they are living miserable lives here due to the acute negligence of the concerned government.
Apart from it, Majhi amid his public address said that most of the Odia schools have been facing dire situations for the non-cooperation of the Jharkhand government.
Raising a scathing attack at the Jharkhand government Majhi said that, a well planned conspiracy has been hatched to destroy Odia education, language and culture on the soil over time. However, he asserted to promote the Odia community with supporting Odia schools situated here with scholastic assistance including free books and trained teachers, if the BJP comes to power.
