<strong>OAS Association meets Chief Secy over assault of Deogarh BDO</strong>

Bhubaneswar, May 2: Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) Association on Monday met the Chief Secretary over assault of Tileibani BDO in Deogarh. Submitting a memorandum to Chief Secretary, Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, the Association urged him stringent action against the accused Deogarh MLA, Subash Chandra Panigrahi. Sources said, a delegate of the OAS Association led by its Secretary Jyoti Ranjan Mishra moved Lokseba Bhawan and put forth their grievance on the attack of Deogarh MLA to Tileibani BDO. The team appealed to arrest other co-accused as soon as possible. At the same time, they sought safety and security of the OAS Officers working across the state. Subsequently, the association officials met the Additional Chief Secretary to Home Department on the issue. Worth mentioning, Deogarh MLA was arrested on Sunday on the charges of assaulting the Tileibani BDO,Krishna Chandra Dalapati.
