Notification issued for 5 LS, 35 Assembly seats in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Electoral Officer Surendra Kumar here released the notification for elections to five Lok Sabha and 35 Assembly seats to be held in the second phase on April 18. The five Parliamentary seats to go to polls in the second phase are Aska, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Bargarh and Sundargarh. All the 35 Assembly constituencies under them will also go to polls. According to the notification, intending aspirants for the above seats can file nominations from today till March 26. While March 27 has been scheduled as the date for scrutiny, March 29 has been fixed as the last date for withdrawal of nominations.
