No lockdown in Delhi, fresh restrictions soon to prevent Covid surge: Kejriwal

New Delhi, April 10: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that fresh restrictions would be announced soon to prevent the Covid surge. However, he ruled out the possibility of another lockdown. Today the Chief Minister held a review meeting at the LNJP Hospital and assured to fulfil the requirements of the hospitals to fight Covid surge successfully. According to the Union Health Ministry data, Delhi Reported 8,521 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. As many as 39 people succumbed to the disease during this period, it said. Meanwhile, as many as 1,45,384 new cases registered were reported in India in the last 24 hours.
