Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD has been scared of the Modi wave and BJP popularity and called upon voters of Odisha to vote for the saffron party to bring double-engine Governments at New Delhi and Bhubaneswar.
“Now the BJD has been scared of BJP popularity and Modi wave. Vote for BJP candidates so that double-engine Governments can be formed both at New Delhi and Bhubaneswar and development can happen in Odisha. Without double-engine Government, development can’t be possible in the State,” Modi said addressing a huge rally at Kendrapara.
Modi claimed that there has been no strain in his Government during the last five years.
Alleging that women are not safe in Odisha, Modi said the BJP would give priority to providing security to women. He said a special Government department would be opened for the welfare of fishermen and farmers would get justice if the BJP is voted to power.
Lamenting that BJP workers are being attacked in Odisha, the Prime Minister urged people to give reply to conspirators for such ghastly acts in ballots.
