Bhubaneswar, Dec 15: The NITI Aayog Vice Chairman (VC) Rajiv Kumar arrived at Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning. He will be on a three day visit to the state from today.
According to the sources, Kumar will meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and senior government officials to discuss various developmental issues.
The demand for “Special Focus State status” to Odisha, funds for development of infrastructure, approval of pending railway project, revision of coal royalty, clean energy cess, backward region grant fund, are the topics that are likely to be discussed in the meeting, said sources.
In his three-day tour to the state, Kumar will visit Puri Jagannath Temple, Chilika lake, and other places in Odisha.
