Chandigarh, Dec 2: A newlywed was reportedly shot at by her alleged ex-boyfriend in Rohtak while she was going to her in-law’s house. According to sources, the victim identified as Navradeva, accompanied by her brother Sunil was going to her in-law’s house when the assailant with two accomplices followed her in a car and shot at her. The accused stopped the newlywed’s car and shot at her neck before fleeing the scene. On being informed, police reached the spot and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital. “Investigation of the incident is on and the accused will soon be arrested,” a police official said. “The car used in the crime has also been found to be stolen at gunpoint from the owner of a brick kiln in Sampala village,” the police official added.
