Kalahandi, Jan 9: Body of a newly-wed woman was found hanging in her rented house at Stechpada village within Bawanipatna police limits here on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Kaushalya Behera.

According to reports, the family member spotted Kaushalya hanging from the ceiling of the house and alerted the local police.

Later, the police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.

A pal of gloom has descended in the village following the death of newly married woman.
