Newly inducted Punjab Cabinet Minister Razia Sultana resigns in solidarity with Sidhu

Chandigarh, Sept 28: Razia Sultana, who took oath as a Cabinet Minister of Punjab two days ago, resigned in solidarity with Navjot Singh Sidhu, who stepped down as Punjab Congress president earlier today. She said, "Sidhu Sahab is a man of principles. He is fighting for Punjab and Punjabiyat." In her resignation letter to Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Sultana wrote, " I Razia Sultana, hereby resign as Cabinet Minister, Punjab in solidarity with Navjoy Singh Sidhu, PPCC President and millions of Congress workers across the state. I will continue to work for the party as a worker in the best interest of Punjab".
