Bhubaneswar: The great showman of India Subhash Ghai has recently said that after the three Khans, the superstar in Bollywood is non other than the Kapoor scion - Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranbir, who had given back to back blockbuster hits, Thursday shared an exciting update on Brahmastra Part Two – Dev. The much-awaited sequel will go into pre-production once director Ayan Mukerji completes the much hyped film of YRF Spy Universe War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
Fans have been waiting for the news since the first film Brahmastra Part One – Shiva became a bid success at the box office in 2022.
At Alia Bhatt’s birthday celebration, Ranbir held a press meet where speaking to the media, he revealed that Ayan has been working on the entire Brahmastra story for years. Right now, he is focused on War 2, but once that film is done, work on Brahmastra 2 will officially begin. Ranbir assured that the film is happening, and there will be some exciting announcements soon.
Ranbir is currently busy with Love And War, where he will share the screen with wife Alia Bhatt and Chhaava fame star Vicky Kaushal. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranbir and Bhansali last worked in his debut film Saawariya.
Talking about working with Bhansali again, Ranbir said it is a blessing. He believes Bhansali is one of the hardest-working directors, deeply connected to characters, emotions, music, and Indian culture. The process of working with him can be long and exhausting, but it is an enriching experience as an artist.
ALIA BHATT CANNES 2025 DEBUT
Speaking to press, Alia confirmed of his Cannes debut. She is gearing up for a major milestone in her career when she will make a debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025. Alia revelaed this to the media on the occasion of her 32nd birthday. This will be another big step in her international journey after her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone.
RANBIR, ALIA FUTURE PROJECTS
The star couple has packed film schedule. Ranbir has a packed schedule with films like Love And War, Brahmastra 2, Ramayana, Animal Park, and Dhoom 4. On the other hand, Alia will be seen next in Alpha, which is set for a Christmas 2025 release.
