NDA announces seat sharing for Bihar polls, both BJP and JD(U) to contest on 101 seats

New Delhi, October 12: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has finalized its seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Both the BJP and JD(U) will contest on 101 seats each, while the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will field candidates in 29 seats, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will contest on 6 seats each.

Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde announced the decision on social media, stating that the seat allocation was reached through mutual consensus among NDA members. Union Minister Chirag Paswan of LJP (Ram Vilas) expressed confidence in the NDA’s victory, emphasizing the full strength of the alliance.

The Bihar polls will take place on November 6 and 11, with results on November 14. The NDA faces strong competition from the INDIA bloc led by RJD's Tejashwi Yadav and supported by several left-wing parties and new entrants like Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj.
