Naveen's governance model gets appreciation from former NITI Ayog Vice-Chairman Dr Arvind Panagariya

Bhubaneswar, July 6: The success of Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik's governance model has been appreciated by none other than an eminent economist and first Vice-Chairman of NITI Ayog Dr Arvind Panagariya. The nation should learn good governance from Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, said Dr Panagariya in an article published in a national daily. Dr Panagariya's appreciation has been a topic of talk across the country, especially among politicians and economists. {"id":195746,"width":835,"height":495,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Accountant General turned Rajya Sabha member Amar Patnaik said, "Our chief minister talks less and works more. This is his secret of success" Another Rajya Sabha MP Manas Mangaraj from Odisha said, " The 5 T (transparency, transformation, technology, teamwork and time) model of Naveen Patnaik-led government has been adjudged as the best model of governance". Appreciating Dr Panagariya's assessment, noted chartered accountant Rajiv Sahoo said, " Odisha has witnessed rapid economic development during Naveen's regime from a bankrupt economy following 1999 super cyclone." Naveen has brought an unprecedented change in the socio-economic spheres in Odisha during governance fighting acute poverty, malnutrition and shortage of foodgrains, said Dr Panagariya in his article titled "Lesson from Naveen Babu".
