Naveen Jindal hails Shallu on her birthday: Dedicates the day for seva & public welfare

​​​​​​​Mumbai, Oct 21: Ace industrialist Naveen Jindal hailed his spouse Shallu Jindal on her happy birthday and wished her spread goodness and compassion.

Naveen dedicated the auspicious day for seva & public welfare across the nation marking it as ‘Seva Diwas’.

Taking to X, Naveen said, “Happy birthday my beloved wife Shallu.You’ve worn many hats in life — as a wonderful daughter, daughter-in-law, wife, and a loving mother to our two incredible kids. But what defines you most is your compassion — the way you care, give, and spread goodness wherever you go.”

Naveen also wrote, “It’s rare to find someone who balances strength with such grace, and ambition with such empathy. You continue to inspire me every day, not just with what you do, but with who you are.Love you always.”

To add magnificence to it, the Jindal Foundation, the social arm of Jindal Steel, undertook various public welfare programs across the projects’ peripheries underlining its Chairperson & Chancellor of OPJ University, Shallu Jindal's vision.

The Foundation’s programs spanned multiple regions, including Angul, Barbil, Kasia, Tensa, and Bhubaneswar in Odisha; Raigarh and Tamnar in Chhattisgarh; Patratu in Jharkhand; Nellore in Andhra Pradesh; and Dhule in Maharashtra.

The selfless services under the aegis of the ‘Seva Diwas’  included supporting vulnerable groups, assisting senior citizens, enabling income-generating opportunities for rural women, and executing environmentally sustainable projects.

Apart from it, food and essential supplies were distributed to orphanages, ashrams, and needy families.

Similarly, at Gram Panchayat Parsada, Raigarh, a submersible water pump was installed to improve access to clean water for the local community. Furthering women’s empowerment, a Puffed Rice Production Centre was inaugurated in Tensa.

The Foundation also kicked off Ayurvedic health check-up programs in and around the project areas with physiotherapy sessions for senior citizens. Meanwhile, the foundation distributed nutritional support to ailing persons including TB patients, who are receiving utmost medical care.
