Naveen dedicates Ramalingeswar Park to public in Berhampur city

Berhampur, Jan 4: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the much-awaited Ramalingeswar Park in Berhampur city through video conferencing. The park, spread over an area of 8.783-acres of land, has been constructed at a cost Rs 12.52 crore. It includes an aesthetically designed garden, facilities for recreation activities and six watch towers for city view. This park will be a landmark entertainment and recreation facility in the city, the Chief Minister said dedicating the park for public. A 35-foot high statue of Lord Shiva in yogic mudra erected in the centre of a pond in the park with fountains is its centre of attraction.
