Berhampur: BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched his poll campaign for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and attacked on the opposition on several issues.
Patnaik kicked off his campaign from Kanishi in Berhampur in Ganjam district.
Patnaik said, “No one came during cyclone Titli and drought. Now they are coming for elections.”
He further asked, “Where has the promise of two crore jobs a year and 10 crore jobs in five years gone.”
Patnaik will hold a road show covering 60 km in Berhampur seeking votes for party candidates. Elections would be held in four phases for 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats starting April 11. The next phases are on April 18, 23 and 29.
