Naveen and Amit Shah laud SUMUM initiative

Bhubaneswar, Feb 29: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the efforts of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University for setting up a world class healthcare facility, one of the biggest in the region. They hoped that SUM Ultimate Medicare (SUMUM), which was dedicated to the people today would provide best healthcare to the people of Odisha as well as east India. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the management of SOA University, especially its founder Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak for the noble initiative. Union Home Minister Amit Shah hoped that more and more such private healthcare facility would come up in the state along with public sector initiatives. Union Petroleum and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the SUMUM is going to be one of the biggest world class hospital in eastern India. He hoped that poor and critical patients would be benefited from the hospital. Pradhan also thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for providing patronage to healthcare sector in the state. Among others Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, founder president of SOA University was present on the dais. CEO of SUMUM Dr. Swetapadma Das welcomed the guests.
