Naveen administers oath to senior officers of the state to empower and serve the people

Bhubaneswar, Jan 17: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today administered an oath to senior officers of the state to empower and serve the people. The oath was administered at the two-day senior officers' conference held in Lokseva Bhawan (state secretariat) here today. "People are the soul of democracy. Every institution in a democracy is for the people created by their money to empower and serve the people", read the oath. {"id":24425,"sizeSlug":"large"} Naveen, who has recently launched Mo Sarkar programme and enunciated the 5 T ( team work, transparency, technology, transformation and time) as the hall mark of good governance reiterated," People are the masters and those who work are paid by the people. " Stating that he has a family of four and half crore people of Odisha, the chief minister said," With their blessings, I am serving them for the last twenty years.I want our children to have quality education.Our brothers and sisters to have good jobs.Our elders to have good health care facilities.You are all the drivers of this transformation agenda and I am sure this conference will help us in this regard." Every institution exists for serving the people they own the institutions, said Naveen directing the senior officers to ensure "Every person visiting any institution will be treated with dignity and his issues have to be treated in a Professional and ethical manner". "At the end of the conference I would like each one of you to share a transformational game changing idea with me directly", said he adding that CMO will co-ordinate this.
