Director of Nandankanan zoological park, Manoj V Nayar informed it on Friday. Nayar said that the zoo authorities are readying master plans to take up genetic studies of the tigers remaining in the Nandankanan zoo. The tigers born in the Nandankanan zoo will be made wild and ferocious so that they can adapt to the outer habitat and breed more tigers in the forest after they are allowed to live there. The National Center for Biological Sciences, Bangalore will assist in the genetic studies and the breeding process with essential technical support.
