The email threat was sent to the Mumbai Airport Police and referred to Afzal Guru’s execution for the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. It warned of bombings at the airport and Taj Mahal Hotel.
The email claimed the bombings would be revenge for what it called the "injustice" of Guru's hanging, and also mentioned S Shankar, another executed convict.
