Delhi, October 7: Just a month after a five-storey building housing PGs in south Delhi's Satya Niketan came crashing down, killing seven people, a three-storey house collapsed in northeast Delhi’s New Seemapuri area on Wednesday afternoon, with several people feared trapped under the debris.
Rescue operations underway after the front portion of the three-storey structure caved in.
Acccording to reports, the mishap was reported around 3.30 PM near Idgah Machhli Mandi in New Seemapuri.
According to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), a call regarding the incident was received at around 3.15 PM. Rescue teams were immediately rushed to the spot. Teams were engaged in search and rescue efforts to ascertain whether anyone was trapped inside the damaged structure.
