Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: The Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence on September 22 and continue till October 3.

The session will have nine working days, along with one holiday and two no-meeting days. The House will conduct official business on September 22, 23 and 24, while September 25 has been earmarked for Private Members’ Business, including Bills and Resolutions.

There will be no sitting on September 26 and 27 as they fall on Saturday and Sunday.

The Assembly will reconvene on September 28 and conduct official business on September 28, 29 and 30. It will also meet on October 1 and 3 for official business.

October 2 will be observed as a holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti.

The Secretariat of the Odisha Legislative Assembly has forwarded the provisional calendar of sittings for the proposed Seventh Session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly to the State Government.
