Bhubaneswar, Sep 25: Two mobile phones of deceased BJD Zilla Parishad member Dharmendra Sahoo, which were found yesterday, have been sent to the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) here. The Commissionerate Police on Sunday sent the cell phones to SFSL. Sahoo was found hanging in his residence at Sishupalgarh on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Saturday. His phones were recovered from the bushes near his house, the police said. Sahoo was the member of ZP Zone 11 in Nimapada of Puri district. Police have also brought the family members of the deceased’s cook under the purview of the investigation as they were residing on the upper floor of the house. Sahoo’s death took a political twist with the BJP alleging the role of Minister Samir Ranjan Dash in the case. BJP leader Pravati Parida alleged that Dash is the main character behind the marital discord in Sahoo’s family and demanded a high-level probe into the case.
