Mumbai, Dec 3: On the occasion of celebrated cricketer Mithali Raj’s birthday on Friday, the release date of her biopic ‘Shabaash Mithu’ starring Taapsee Pannu has been announced.

The much awaited movie is all set for a grand theatrical release on February 4, 2022.

Talented actor Vijay Raaz will also be seen playing a key role in the movie.

The motion picture has been shot across several domestic and international locations to competently showcase Mithali’s iconic journey and her meteoric rise to the world stage.

Notably, the film is produced by Viacom18 Studios while it is directed by Srijit Mukherji and written by Priya Aven.
