Bhubaneswar, July 20: The Odisha government on Monday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre, assigning new responsibilities to Dr. Poma Tudu and Smita Pani.

As per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, Dr. Poma Tudu has been appointed as Additional Secretary to the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department. She was previously serving as the Managing Director of the Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL).

Despite her new posting, Dr. Tudu will continue to hold the additional responsibilities of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, and Managing Director of the Tribal Development Cooperative Corporation of Odisha Limited (TDCCOL).

Meanwhile, Smita Pani has been appointed as the new Managing Director of OSMCL. She will take over the charge from Dr. Poma Tudu at the state’s nodal agency responsible for the procurement of medicines and medical equipment.
