Minor girl gang raped by four persons on way back home from opera;One held

Chandbali, 4/11: A shameful incident came to fore in Badaostia gram panchayat under Chandbali in Bhadrak district. A minor girl, who had been to witness opera along with her brother, was gang raped by four persons on her way back home on Chandabali College Road  near the Fire Station. {"id":19938} The miscreants beat the brother of the girl, dragged her to a lonely place and raped her. On hearing her scream, the people returning from opera reached the spot and on seeing them, the miscreants fled the spot on a motor cycle. But the villagers caught hold of one of the culprits, tied him to a telephone pole and thrashed him severely. On being informed, police reached the spot and rescued the youth. Police arrested him and brought him  to the police station for interrogation. Investigation into the incident is on. {"id":19939}
