Minor girl from Odisha flees to Haryana to marry boy she met online

Panipath (Haryana) Oct 13: A minor girl from Odisha fled to Panipath in Haryana to marry off a minor boy, who she came in contact with while playing ludo online. As per sources, the boy and girl met each other 2 years ago while playing ludo online and gradually fell in love. After both took the decision to get married, the girl fled to Panipath. The boy lives in a slum area situated at Sonali road of Panipath. After getting information, the child welfare authorities reached the spot when the marriage was being solemnised. They stopped the marriage midway. On being asked by the authorities, the minors could not produce their age proofs. The girl said she decided to flee to Haryana to marry the boy as her family didnot agree to their marriage proposal.
