Milk Mantra’s technology embedded ‘Moo booths’ to cater demand for purity and freshness

Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: New age dairy start-up Milk Mantra, the producer of one of the most trusted and desired dairy brands of Odisha - Milky Moo has come up with yet another revolutionary step to further strengthen its distribution network by establishing MOO booths in Cuttack. In first phase, today the company has launched 20 MOO booths in Cuttack and plans to create many more MOO Booths across key cities in Odisha such as Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Berhampur, Balasore and Puri. The entire network of MOO booths distribution system will be backed by technology to facilitate "freshness" right at the retail points and help the retailers to have better inventory management. Speaking on the occasion Sandipan Ghosh, COO of Milk Mantra Stated, “MOO Booths are a key initiative of Milk Mantra to bridge the gap between demand and supply of Milky Moo products in the market. With tech interventions enabling real-time inventory management, we will be able to monitor and increase efficiency in operations across the value chain. With our vision being ‘Nourishing truly pure living’, we are confident that MOO booths will definitely help us keeping our promise of purity and freshness”. “We want to delight our consumers with our delectable dairy portfolio and provide them with an experience of our products being Fresh and Pure. MOO booths are going to be franchisee operated, who will stock our entire range of products from fresh milk, curd, paneer to our most innovative artisanal range of chennapoda and chocolate chennapoda, which will further be redistributed to retail outlets within the geography demarcated to franchisees” Ghosh said, informing about the unique model. It should be noted, Milk Mantra is one of the pioneers for bringing tech innovation and disruption across the dairy value chain from sourcing, production and logistics till the consumer households. Known direct and transparent payment system under its Ethical Sourcing Program, Milk Mantra has successfully has a network of more than 68,000 farmers many of whose income levels have gone up by up to 70% across the years.
