Military chopper crash in Tamil Nadu: CDS Bipin Rawat rescued, admitted to hospital

New Delhi, Dec 8: Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat has been admitted to a hospital for treatment after a military chopper boarding senior officials crashed in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. At least six ambulance teams have been sent to the accident location. The health condition of the rescued persons admitted to hospital continues to remain critical, said sources. CDS Bipin Rawat, his staff and some family members were in the Mi-series chopper that crashed between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu.
