Balangir, May 2: Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Odisha’s Balangir district early Saturday morning at around 4:40 AM, triggering panic among residents. People rushed out of their homes as a precaution after experiencing the brief shaking.

However, officials confirmed that no loss of life or property has been reported so far.

Notably, a similar incident was reported a few days ago in Kalahandi district, where mild tremors were felt but no damage was recorded. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
