Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai presented the data before the Upper House through a written reply.

The data also revealed the killing of 87 civilians and 99 security personnel by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir between August 5, 2019, and November 2021 in comparison to the killing of 177 civilians and 406 security personnel from May 2014 to August 2019.

Rai further said robust security and intelligence grid is in place to prevent any terrorist attack.

“In addition, day and night area domination, round the clock checking at Nakas, patrolling and proactive operations against terrorists are being carried out.”
