Met dept warns cold wave condition, dense fog for these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar, Jan 14: Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh and Jharsuguda during the next 24 hours, the regional met centre said on Thursday. Similarly, dense fog likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri and Kandhamal, it added. The Weatherman suggested to stay indoor and avoid movement during night and early morning to avoid prolonged exposure to cold. Livestock maybe affected due to prolong exposure to cold following which the weatherman suggested to keep livestock in shaded/indoor area. Dry weather most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha, the met centre said. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam ,Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh and Kandhamal.
