Medical student attempts suicide by consuming sleeping pills, critical

Sambalpur, Mar 5: A post-graduate medical student of Vira Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research in Burla allegedly attempted suicide by consuming an overdose of sleeping pills on Thursday night.
According to sources, the medical student has been taking sleeping pills for his mental ailments for a long time. However, he consumed excess of sleeping pills out of mental stress last night and became unconscious.
Soon he was rushed to a the medical hospital and then he was shifted to a private hospital in Bargarh when his condition worsened.
