Malkangiri, Sep 16: Police have unearthed a Maoist den in Malkangiri forest and recovered a huge cache of Maoist goods on Thursday. Basing on the police intelligence, CRPF, DVF and SOG Jawans took up an operation in the Badli forest range which is adjacent to the Koraput border and reached the red militants in the morning. {"id":136629,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} However, after a long exchange of fire, militants including the top Mao Leader of Andhra Cadre, Suresh Surana escaped narrowly from the spot. {"id":136630,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Subsequently, the security contingents initiated a search operation and seized a gun, six-round live bullets, four detonators, two walkie-talkies, and other Mao-related equipment, said SP Malkangiri.
