Keonjhar, May 16: The Additional District Judge, Keonjhar has awarded a man and his son 10-years rigorous punishment, hearing the Manjit Singh murder case on Monday. The accused identified as Banka Behera and his son Basanta Behera who hail from Rajabadha village under the Champua police limit. Sources said, the father and son duos were lodged in Keonjhar Sub-jail since 30 October 2016 on the charges of charring the body after killing Manjit Singh alias Jimmy as he allegedly sought illicit relationship of a woman. On the final hearing, the ADJ Court ordered 10 years jail to each with a cash fine of Rs 10,000 from each of the convict.
