Bhubaneswar, Oct 22: In the latest development in Manish death case, PK Pattnaik, IIC of Tamando police station has been transferred to Commissionerate Police headquarters here. He was under scanner after the South City bar was found running during night hours violating the Covid-19 guidelines. Subhranshu Jena, IIC of Chandaka Police Station has been given additional charge of the Tamando Police Station. On the other hand, a raid was conducted on South City Bar, which was running illegally after its license expired on March 30, 2021. A massive amount of liquor has been seized. Managers of the bar, Prasanna Behera and Pradyumna Jena are detained by the police, informed DCP Umashankar Das. As per the report, the DCP has suspended constable Prasanna Behera, secretary of Bhubaneswar Havildar and Constable Association, until further order for allegedly managing the dance bar late night.
