Mayurbhanj, Aug 14: A man has allegedly killed his neighbour over hot exchange in Mayurbhanj on Saturday. The incident took place at Budhamara village under Rairangpur police limit in the evening. The deceased is Sukesh Mohanta of the same village. The accused, identified as Chandramohan Mohanta has been arrested by police. Sources said, Chandramohan was coming back from his farm. Meanwhile, an oral spat broke between him and Sukesh on the village street. Being aggrieved over it, Chandramohan violently hit Sukesh with a lathi. As a result,Sukesh died on the spot. Besides, Sukesh’s daughter in law was also assaulted as she tried to check the attack. Being informed, Police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused.
