Dhenkanal, Dec 25: One person was killed after a JCB machine ran over him at a construction site in Gajamara area of Dhenkanal district on Saturday.

The man has been identified as Binod Behera of Cuttack district. According to sources, Behera, who worked as the supervisor in the construction site was accidentally crushed by the excavator during construction work. Police, after learning about the incident reached the spot and recovered the body.

Meanwhile an investigation is under way to find out the reason behind the accident.
