Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, the body of a man was found hanging under suspicious conditions near a mutt at Laturpeta village under Birmaharjpur police limits in Subarnapur district early this morning.

The deceased was identified as Soumitri Patra. It is not clear if he committed suicide or it is a case of murder. 

According to reports, some locals first saw the body of Soumitri hanging from a tree near the mutt. On being informed by them, the Birmaharajpur police have reached the spot and started investigations.
