Man found hanging in in-laws’ house, family smells foul play

Balasore, Jan 10: Tension erupted in Balasore district’s Telipala panchayat after a man was found hanging in his in-laws’ house in Dhadasahi village on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Pradhan Soren, a native of Mayurbhanj district’s Purunapani village. The family of the deceased has alleged that Soren was murdered. However, his in-laws have said that Soren committed suicide due to disturbances with his wife. According to sources, Soren along with his wife and two kids was living in his in-laws’ house in Balasore for a few days. On Monday morning, Soren was found hanging in his in-laws’ house. On being informed, the Brahmapur police along with a forensic team reached the spot and seized the body. The police and the forensic team have launched an investigation into the incident while the body has been sent for post-mortem.
