Man attacks elderly woman over son’s fault in Keonjhar

Telkoi, April 4: A man allegedly attacked an elderly woman over her son's fault at Khuntapada village under Telkoi police limit on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Laxmi Sahu. Sources said, Laxmi’s son was in an illicit relation with a woman of the same village. Though the husband of the woman warned the youth frequently to detract the youth from it, the youth kept up erring relation with the woman as usually. Being aggrieved on it, the man decided to get rid of him and barged into the youth’s home. However, he failed to find the alleged youth there after a frantic search. Finally , he axed mother of the youth with a chopper. As a result the woman sustained critical injuries in her body. She was then rushed to Telkoi Health Centre fof immediate care. No complain has been filed with police in this connection so far.
