Man arrested on charges of abducting Revenue Inspector in Jajpur

Jajpur, ay 20: A man has been arrested in connection with abduction of a Revenue Inspector on Friday. The incident took place at Bandareswar village under the Balichandrapur police limits in Jajpur district. The accused has been identified as Anant Narayan Dhal, a native of Bikramatiran village while the victim is Somnath Samal, the Bandareswar RI. According to the complaint lodged by Samal, Anant Narayan Dhal pressurized him for an illegal Legal Heir certificates which he denied, saying that it’s out of law. Aggrieved over it, Dhal assaulted and kidnapped him. Acting on it, police registered a case and forwarded Dhal for judicial custody.
